If you’re looking for a lake fishing spot, Sparks Lake and Cultus Lake are just a short drive from Bend and are perfect for a relaxing day of fishing. Bring your small boat or paddleboard. Both lakes are known for their bass, trout, and bluegill, making them great options for beginners or families looking to enjoy a day by the water.
If you’re into fly fishing, the Fall River is another must-visit location near Bend. Known for its crystal-clear waters and steady flow, this river offers incredible opportunities to catch rainbow trout from a hatchery. If you are there on the right day, you might even see the ODFW transport truck unloading fish (this happened to my friends Mike, Tommy, and I, we each caught 30+ fish that day!). These fish right off the back of the ODFW truck look and act like the zombie creatures from Will Smith’s NYC-based film I am Legend, no joke. Despite the crazy ass fish, Fall River is a peaceful, beautiful spot to spend the day immersed in nature, with the sound of flowing water and the quiet hum of nature all around you. If you’re lucky, you’ll also see bald eagles swooping for fish. Link to Fall River, there are three great fishing spots from the hatchery to the guard station, to the campground.
Let’s go fishing together! We can fish the river by my house, zip over to Sawyer Park (5 min drive), or jump in the car and bomb down to the Fall River (38 min). If you have time and are interested in a longer, lingering Deschutes fishing experience below warm springs or the lower Deschutes, I’d be happy to connect you with a guide.

Family First.
In real estate, it's easy to get caught up in market trends and property values, but for me, it's all about people and their families.
In the world of real estate, it’s easy to get caught up in the numbers—market trends, investment potential, and property values. But for me, real estate isn’t just about transactions; it’s about people and their families. A "family-first" mentality is the core of how I approach real estate.
What is your family up to in 2025?
Plans to move?
Buy something?
Sell?
When it comes to buying or selling a home, the process can be overwhelming. I’ve purchased and sold a few homes of my own, and from experience, I know there are a lot of moving parts.
A family-first mentality means listening to what matters most—whether it’s a spacious backyard for kids to play, a quiet neighborhood close to schools, or a home with room for future growth. That’s why I’m taking a personalized, thoughtful approach to every transaction, ensuring that the place you call home is truly the right fit for you and your family’s needs.
I’d love to hear about what dreams you have for your famili’s current or future home.
A remodel?
A new build?
Sell everything and travel the world?
Exploring an investment property?
Looking for an island?
Lets talk!
